Photos of London restaurants in cooking
magazine
London is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, as well as being the financial and
commercial centre for the whole of Europe. London is the most populated city in Europe, with a population
approaching 8 million people. When you include the thousands of visitors who travel to London every day, this
number is even greater and increasing all the time. There is something in London for everyone, no matter what you
are interested in or how big you budget happens to be. From Covent Garden and Knightsbridge through to Trafalgar
Square and Big Ben - there is so much to see and so many places to go. The city of London is world renowned for its
fine restaurants, some of which are visited by the rich and famous. While visiting one of London's best restaurants
is not going to be cheap, it can provide you with an incredible evening full of gastronomical delights that you
will always remember.
Many tourists pair their sightseeing and gastronomical adventures together, visiting some of London's great
restaurants in the evenings after they are done with their days sightseeing. Most of the restaurants of note are
well situated to the city centre, making it easy to get to them from your hotel or previous sightseeing
destination. One of the best restaurants in the entire city is 'The Fat Duck'. A dining experience here is one you
are sure to remember, as chef Heston Blumenthal creates a number of exciting and unconventional dishes. The Capital
restaurant is a fine modern French establishment which has been awarded two michelin stars for excellence. Eric
Chavot is the amazing head chef there and truly one of the best in the world. If it is French food you are looking
for, then Le Gavroche should definitely satisfy you with its traditional French dishes and fantastic wine
collection.
Many of these establishments I am mentioning have appeared on the pages of numerous cooking magazine
(Kochmagazin) publications, with many also appearing on TV and in the newspapers due to visits
by celebrities. Tamari seems to be the latest hotspot for the rich and famous, with the fashion elite and other
celebrities often being seen there. Tamari features Asian dishes, mainly from the countries in the south east
region of the continent. There are even dedicated books about London restaurants, full of fantastic photography
and gorgeous descriptions of the food. Some of the best restaurants which have been featured in print include
The Ivy, La Barbe, Artisan, The Grill, Axis, and Blakes restaurant.
More and more people are becoming interested in the art of fine cooking and the refined dining experience.
Cookery book (Kochbuch) publications are providing people with the knowledge and inspiration to create great
dishes at home, however, the allure of a fine restaurant will always remain. Photos of London restaurants have
featured in some of the most popular cooking magazines, giving people the desire to make their next London trip
a gastronomical adventure as well as a sightseeing one.
