Famous London landmarks and London theatre tickets

London is the capital city of the United Kingdom and England and one of the most famous cities in the world.  There are a number of very well known and recognised landmarks in the capital, and a huge tourism industry driven by people from all over the globe.  While people visit the city for many different reasons, London is especially well known for its architecture, its shopping, and its theatre.  Getting some London theatre tickets is a part of the London experience for many visitors, with famous theatres and shows occurring around Shaftesbury Avenue, the Strand, and other nearby streets in the West End district.

Most of the well recognised London landmarks can be found in the central area of the city, with some of the buildings and parkland there being recognised all over the world.  Buckingham Palace is perhaps the most obvious landmark in central London, as is London Bridge, the Big Ben clock tower, and the Tower Bridge.  Some of the newer architecture has become just as important in the creation of an overall London identity;  and the London Eye, the Gherkin skyscraper, and the Millennium Dome have also quickly become famous London landmarks.  As well as visiting these architectural attractions, many visitors to the city are just as keen to source tickets to some of London's fabulous theatres.

Going to a London show is likely to be a fantastic experience for any visitor to the city, and certainly one to always remember.  While visiting the major architectural hot spots in London is an important part of any trip to the capital, no holiday to London is complete without visiting a West End theatre.  It is important to always remember to get your London theatre ticket as early as possible however, as many of the best shows become sold out very quickly.
